Feminine, Romantic Makeup Tutorial ♡ Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hi guys! Today I have a beautiful makeup tutorial for you. It's a soft romantic look with a lots of nudes and pinks. I got inspired from a look Shaaanxo have done in the past and I liked it so much. This look is perfect for weddings, proms or dates! Shall we start?

First, I'm using the Benefit Professional balm to minimize my pores on my nose and chin. This stuff is amazing.

And then I'm using a damp Beauty Blender to apply a thin layer of foundation. Today I decided to wear my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation because it lasts so much on me.

Once my foundation is on, I'm using the Maybelline Fit me concealer, to cover my blemishes and my dark circles.

To brighten up a little bit my under eye area I'm using the MAC Prep+Prime highlighter.

After applying all of my liquids, I'm grabbing my MAC Pro Longwear Pressed powder to set everything in place and make sure they won't move all day long.

For my brows today, I'm using the Benefit Instant Brow pencil very lightly to fill them in. I love how natural it makes my brows look.

Of course I'm also going to use my Maybelline Brow Drama to set them in place.

Moving on to eyes, first I'm using the Essence eyeshadow base to prevent my eyes from creasing and make my eyeshadows last longer.

Next I'm taking a light shade from The Nudes palette by Maybelline and I'm blending it all over my lid as a base.

Then with a blending brush, I'm taking Liar from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and I'm blending it in my crease and undeneath my lash line.

With a shader brush I'm taking also from the Naked 3 this gorgeous shimmery dark rose shade called Buzz and I'm applying it on my lid.

After that, with a clean shader brush I'm taking the shade dust and I'm applying it in the center of my eyelid.

I'm going to layer it up with this shimmery white colour from The Nudes palette to make it more bold and I'm also applying this in my inner corner and my brow bone.

As for mascara, I'm going to use two different mascaras. The first one is the Avon Super Extend Winged Out mascara (What a huge name!) to give length on my lashes and to separate them. And after it dry out, I'm applying a second layer from the Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express mascara to give volume. You can also use falses if you wish, but I want to keep it simple for today's look.

To contour I'm using the famous Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which is my absolute favourite bronzer EVER.

I'm adding very lightly a bit of the Tony Moly blush in the shade 02 I believe. I can't tell for sure because it's a Corean brand.

I haven't own any highlighter until now, so for my first time, I will use the Avon powder blush, which is definitely not a blush!

A pink lipstick couldn't miss from this look. So I'm using my favourite combination which is MAC Hip'n'happy lip pencil and MAC lipstick in the shade Please me.

Last but not least, I'm using the NYX setting spray with matte finish, to be sure that my makeup will last all day!

And that is the completed makeup look.

I hope you enjoyed it. If you recreated make sure you tag me on Facebook, Τwitter or Ιnstagram to see your creations.

The best thrillers/horror movies of all time ♡ Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello my beautiful friends! Inspired from my ''I Love Fall'' TAG, a recent discussion I had with some friends and the fact that Halloween is just behind the corner, I decided to do a post about my absolute favorites thriller/horror movies of all time. These kind of movies were always my favourites! I won't list them with any particular order. It's just as I remembered them. So let's begin!

1. The Shining

As a HUGE fan of Stephen King's books, this movie couldn't be missing from my favourites. The plot is about a family who makes a fresh start by heading into a haunted isolated hotel for the winter. The son has psychic abilities and he can see things happened there from the past and also from the future. The father gradually possessed by an evil presence, he becomes violent and he tries to kill his wife and his son. One of the BEST movies of Jack Nicholson who plays the father. 10/10!!

2. IT

Again a Stephen King's movie. This was the first horror movie I saw when I was 7 year old. Yes! I was only 7!! But I think this is why I'm not afraid of horror movies. I was TERRIFIED when I saw that movie, but that was it. Fear never visited me again. It's about 7 kids who stand against an evil demon with a clown's appearance and he killed some children in the town. 30 years after they return back to face the same monster again. Although I didn't enjoy the end, the rest of the movie was AWESOME.

3. Pan's Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno)

One of the best spanish movies. We are in Spain, 1944,during war. A 10 year old girl moves with her pregnant mother, in a stronghold where girl's stepfather is the captain of the army. The little girl discovers an old abandoned  labyrinth and a mysterious faun, who disclose her that she is the princess they've been waiting for so long.

4. 1408

1408. Soo creapy.  It's from Stephen King. Are you surprised? A man who is specialized on paranormal activities decides to spend a night on the famous room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. Although the director of the hotel warn him about the 56 deaths which happened inside the room, he insist to stay all night on that room. But soon he will face terror and death themselves. Are you ready for 1408?

5. Insidious

A happy family with 3 kids moving house. So usual start for a movie. Although this one will end differently. The older son goes into a coma and some paranormal activities takes place. With the help of the doctors, parents try to find out what's going on, but with no luck. They believe the house is haunted and they are moving again. However the problem remains. So, they call a specialist on paranormal activities to solve the mystery.

6. The Strangers

You are going to scared till death. Such an amazing horror movie! A man propose to his girlfriend, but she refuse to marry him. So they decide to stay on an isolated vacation home which he rent before, until the next morning. Although an unpleasant surprise waits for them.

7. Saw (All of them)

Sooo much blood! If you don't like those kind of movies, don't watch them! Yes, it's disgusting, but it is such a clever movie. I think they are 7 of them and it's a connected story. It's about a psycho who kidnappes and forces people to play a death game in secret rooms.

I Love Fall TAG ♡Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hello my beautiful friends! I hope you're doing okay! I was tagged by the beautiful Lily Angelova from www.beautyandthenature.com to do the ''I Love Fall'' Tag and spread my favourite things about fall. I really like fall, because the weather is getting colder and we are slowly moving to my favourite season which is winter of course. This is my first tag and I hope there will be more in the future, because I love collabs with other bloggers from all over the world. So let's begin!

1.Favourite fall lip product

My favourite lip product for fall, can't be anything but my new L'oreal Color Riche Laetitia's Pure Red, which is definitely not a pure red! Although this is a new addition in my collection, I first tried this lipstick last year and I loved it! It's a gorgeous burgundy matte shade. Usually when I'm hearing for a matte lipstick I'm thinking 'oh this is gorgeous, but it will be so dry on my lips'. But I was so wrong this time. It it so creamy and it can be applied so smoothly, that I was shocked. It is also one of my most longlasting lipsticks. If you don't own this, you should! It worth it so much!

2.Favourite drink for fall

Favourite drink for fall? It doesn't need so much thought. It is tea for sure! I discovered recently an amazing shop which only sells tea and coffee and it has so many variety of them, which everytime I get confused and I want to buy them all! My absolute favourite flavours is ''Red Square'', the famous Twinings tea with lemon, the English breakfast black tea and Lipton Forest Fruit. Every one of them has such a special taste which makes it unique. I like to drink tea in my huge snowman mug. I know it's massive, but I love it!

3.Favourite fall nail polish

I like a lots of different nail polish to wear during fall. I can't decide which one I like more, so I'll tell for both of them. It's the Avon Nailwear Pro + nail polishes in Pastel Pink and this grey shade which doesn't have a name on it. Weird. So I like to paint my nails with these colours and sometimes I paint them with both of them. It's a great combination.

4.Favourite fall candle

My absolute favourite candle is by Hygge Candles and it's the Chocolate Muffin candle. It smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! These are a creation of my lovely friend Lily, who was kindly enough to send me some to try out. I did send her some other stuff from Greece.  If you live in Denmark you should definitely check them out. The link to the site is: http://hyggecandles.dk

5.Haunted house, haunted hay ride or haunted corn maze?

Well, It's so bad, we don't celebrate Halloween in Greece. I wish we'll do someday! :( I like so much costumes and makeup people do and I'm so jealous every single year.

6.Favourite scarf/accessory for fall?

I would say my umbrella because it is always on my bag, in case of rain, but I think I will choose my beautiful black and white scarf! This scarf I bought it from Italy and it was way more expensive than any scarf I have bought. It cost 35-40€ I think. But I was so in love with the print and how soft it was that I couldn't resist.

7.Favourite candy

That is definitely ION Noisetta. It's a small chocolate bite with a whole hazelnut in it. Oh my Gosh, it tastes so good!! My grandma always has a lots of them in her home and everytime I go there I eat so many! If you ever come to Greece try them!

8.Your favourite horror movie?

Horror movies are my favourites! I watch them all the time. I have so many favourites, but some of them are ''The Shining'' (as a huge fan of Stephen King), ''Friday the 13th:The final chapter'', ''1408'' and ''It''. If you have any recommendations for horror movies please comment me which are your favourites!

9.Favourite blush for fall?

Difficult choice! There are so many different blushes I love. I think most of the times I grab 'Peaches' blush by MAC. It's a beautiful coral shade and coral shades are my HG for fall.

10.Favourite thing about fall?

I really don't have to think that! It's hot chocolate, tea, horror movie nights with my friends, candles and rainy nights!

MAC Fluidline Brow Gelcream Review ♡ Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hi beauties! I hope you are all ok! Today I have a review for you, about the waterproof MAC Fluidline Brow Gelcream. Usually, my local MAC store has so much delay on bringing out the new products, so I was very excited when I discovered this brow gel.

The description MAC gives on their official website is: Long-wearing waterproof gel in a pot that gives precise definition to brows. Applies smoothly, sets quickly for the ultimate well-groomed brow. Fills, lengthens and shapes for subtle to dramatic looks. Also it says that it is waterproof, long-wearing (up to 8 hours), sweat and humidity proof, ophthalmologist tested, dermatologist tested, non-acnegenic and it's suitable for all skin types.

The packaging is the classic MAC glass pot which contain 3g/0.1oz. The amount you get is generous for the price I think.

I use the MAC 208 brush to apply it on my brows, which is a smaller version of the famous MAC 266 brush. I like this one better because it's smaller and I can fill in my eyebrows with more precision. I like to start from the tail of my brow and then going from back to the front. I like to leave the beginning of my brows natural, so I don't apply any product there.

Mine is in the shade ''True Brunette'', but it's available on 5 different shades, which are: Ash Blonde, Deep Dark Brunette, Dirty Blonde, Redhead and True Brunette.

You can see here how light or dark your brows can become depending on how much product you get on your brush. The product is very pigmented, creamy and smooth. I found very easy the application and I believe even a beginner can create natural looking eyebrows with this product. The formula is really good.

It is waterproofI tried it on a rainy day and it did not move at all! It is long lasting. At least on me lasts forever!

As for the price, it is only cost 16.50$. I believe it's a reasonable price for that product. You get a high-end, high quality, 3g, product and you pay a little bit more than a usual drugstore eyebrow pencil.

I've seen a lot of people using and loving this product and now I know why. It's definitely worth it!
I give 10/10. I think I have found my HG brow product!

So that's it for today beauties! Thank you for stopping by and I will see you soon!

How to hydrate your skin | Ariana's Beauty Corner

Hi guys! Today I decided to share with you some advices on how to hydrate your skin. These are steps I personally do no matter what and any one of you can follow no matter what skin you have. So let's get started!

1.My No1 rule about hydrating your skin is: drink a lot of water! As much as you can. Although some dermatologists claim that water is not important for our skin hydration, I believe exactly the opposite, only because I see the results on my own skin. The days I drink a lot of water, 6-8 glasses per day, my skin is AMAZING. It's much more hydrated and glowing. On the contrary, when I'm not drinking enough water my skin is dry and sometimes I see patchy areas around my nose or my chin.
Also water helps your nails get stronger and your hair be more shiny.

2.The next step is to exfoliate your skin often. This helps for removing any dead skin cells and reduce flakiness, so the moisture will be easily absorbe from your skin. You can find a huge variety of different scrubs, but if you have very sensitive skin you can only use organic sugar and a scrub glove or just a towel.

3. Choose carefully your facial moisturizer. Firstly, you'll need to find what type of skin you have, so you can buy a moisturizer suitable for your skin type. Next, choose a light moisturizer to use in the morning and a heavier at night time, before you go to sleep.

4. Pay attention to your neck and chest. These areas are more sensitive than others on our body and they need extra care. So use your facial moisturizer there instead of your body moisturizer. In addition, some people use face masks one or twice a month for more hydration.

5. Cleanse your face twice a day. This is so so so important! Seriously. Throughout the day we all touch our face and we transfer bacteria on our surface. So it's important to wash your face before you go to bed. In addition, a lot of people don't wash their face in the morning. Especially if you are going to apply foundation, a clean skin will help it last all day.

6.Two or three times a week it's helpful to use a face mask for an intensive hydration. Masks with 'non-comedogenic' are the bests,  because they are not oil-based and they don't clog your pores, so remember that the next time you will be in search for a new face mask.

7. Shower your body with cooler water. Showers with hot water strip the moisture of your skin and wash away oils important for our hydration. So, the more cooler is the water you shower with, the more hydrated you keep your body. This is also good for your face cleansing routine.

8. For soft hands and feet, apply a moisturizer especially for those areas and put on socks and gloves. The warmth will help for more hydration while you sleep.

So these are my tips on how to hydrate and moisturize your skin. There are some other tricks you can do but they are not so effective as these ones, which are the most important. If you do these, trust me your skin will change on its best side! I'm going to wrap it up now and I will be back soon with another post!

Thank you for stopping by!
